About the Teacher

"Whoever has come to understand the world has found (only) a corpse, and whoever has found a corpse is superior to the world."
- Gospel Of Thomas 1:56

Reverend Michael Eckard
from Sacramento, CA

Born and raised in Sacramento, Ca. Spent much of my younger years like many trying to find myself and purpose in life. I grew up lower-class. College, good jobs, or an easy path weren't part of my reality. I joined the Marine Corps at 19, some of the best and worst years of my life. In the end you take from it what you can. The training and discipline are priceless, but can easily come with a heavy cost.

I've struggled with suicide most of my life, even as a child. I never really had anyone who could understand me or anyone I could trust to open up to (except for GOD). Most would be hypocrites, or just simply criticize me as if everything always is and always will be my fault. After wandering around in the desert for years on end, I finally started looking for more answers in the right places. The LORD and I started to re-align (Reconnect).

Since then I've devoted my life to serving the LORD and helping others navigate the desert of life. We literally live in a physical and spiritual Matrix that many don't want to accept or wake up from. Not sure what's more depressing, knowing we live in the Matrix, or watching people unknowingly commit spiritual / physical suicide without being able to help.

"For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow."
- Ecclesiastes 1:18

"Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the all."
- Gospel Of Thomas 1:2

"Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever."
- Psalms 23:4-6

"Before I go whence I shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death; A land of darkness, as darkness itself; and of the shadow of death, without any order, and where the light is as darkness."
- Job 10:21-22
